Dr. Chethana Dharmapalaiah is an accomplished and qualified rheumatologist with a wealth of experience in laboratory based research, clinical research and teaching. She is adept with rheumatological procedures and biologic therapy. Dr. Chethana has an overall experience of 15 years working with patients suffering from arthritis, gout, osteoporosis and other musculoskeletal disorders such as back pain or neck pain among others. She performs intra articular (joint) injections, soft tissue injections and is trained in performing muscle and salivary gland biopsies. She has vast experience managing all types of rheumatic conditions including arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, crystal arthritic conditions such as gout or pseudogout; osteoarthritis; ankylosing spondylitis; vasculitic like wegeners granulomatosis, microscopic polyangiitis, takayasu’s arteritis, SLE, systemic sclerosis, myositis, sarcoidosis and chronic pain.
