Dr. Antony Robert Charles
Paediatric Surgeon
Dr. Antony Robert Charles is a senior paediatric surgeon and paediatric urologist with an interest in neonatal surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopy and paediatrics. He has received advanced training in pediatric surgery at AIIMS Delhi and Westmead children's hospital Sydney. Dr. Robert's work as a teacher of his peers has been recognised through the Lamar Dodd Award for excellence in teaching by the University of Sydney, which he was awarded twice consecutively between 2008-2010. As well as this, Dr. Robert led a medical team to Andaman Islands following the tsunami disaster there, providing humanitarian relief to those who needed it most. As an active paediatric surgeon, he has authored many publication in peer reviewed journals.
