Dr. Girish Kumar is a top Pediatrics Orthopaedic Surgeon in St. Philomena’s Hospital, Bengaluru. He is graduated from Kempe Gowda Institute of Medical Sciences and completed his masters in orthopaedics from the prestigious Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, in 2010. He worked in various institutions before doing his paediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship under Dr. Jayanth S Sampath at Sparsh Hospitals.
He went on to pursue a Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences recognised fellowship program at Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health Bangalore under Dr Rudraprasasd in 2014-2015.
His research topic was on changing epidemiology in neonatal septic arthritis. His interests are in managing clubfoot, deformity correction, DDH, cerebral palsy, bone and joint infections in children and paediatric trauma management.
