Dr. Deepa R is a specialist who completed her basic medical training at Kempe Gowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, and went on to specialize in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the High-volume tertiary referral centre- J.S.S. Medical College and Hospital, Mysore. Soon after, she joined one of Bangalore’s oldest and most reputed multispecialty maternity centres-St John’s Medical College & Hospital- as Assistant Professor where she went on, over the next eight years, to hone her skills acquired earlier at Mysore. This is where she gained tremendous experience in treating “High-Risk Pregnancy” as well as “Minimally Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopy)”. During her tenure, she did further exclusive fellowship training in Laparoscopy, at renowned Laparoscopy institutes recognized by the federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society India. She also did her Diploma training in Non Invasive Cosmetic Gynaecology at Hyderabad (I.C.O.G.) in order to able to expand her expertise which include Lasers for Cosmetic Rejuvenation. At present Dr Deepa R practices at St. Philomena's Hospital, Bangalore.
