Induction Program, June 6, 2024, at St. Philomena’s Hospital
Every organization needs well-trained employees to perform job activities effectively and efficiently. Training and development are a continuous process that helps to develop skills, knowledge, and abilities in its workers, which leads to better employee performance.
An induction program was organized by the Administration Department, and the program was coordinated by the HR Department and the Department of Quality and Safety. This was for the newly joined employees from all departments of St. Philomena's Hospital Bengaluru.
A total of 30 staff nurses and others benefited from the program, which spanned over a period of three days from 6/6/24 at 9:00 a.m. to 8/6/24 at 5:00 p.m. in the Dr. Sr. Veronica Pitt Auditorium. The topics covered include: A Short Legacy of St. Philomena's Hospital; Introduction to the Various Departments and Their Functions; Emergency Codes; Patient Rights and Education; Infection Control and Prevention; Biomedical Waste Management; Protocols and Preventive Measures.
