         The life of a healthcare worker is one of immense dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of others. Every day, these individuals put on their scrubs or uniforms, not just as a part of their job but as a calling to make a difference in the lives of patients.

         The Management and all the Staff at St. Philomena’s Hospital in Bengaluru are deeply troubled and shocked by the recent, terrible act of violence that took place in Kolkata.

         Healthcare workers devote their lives to helping others. Being faced with such cruelty is not just a personal loss but a severe attack on the core of our community. We are united with the victim and her loved ones during this incredibly hard time.

         Our organization is dedicated to ensuring a safe and protected environment for all our healthcare workers, especially the women who are crucial to our community. We will not accept any disrespect or compromise towards our healthcare workers. They are entitled to be treated with dignity and safeguarded against all kinds of violence—be it physical, verbal, or emotional.

         Let's all join forces to build a community where healthcare workers can carry out their work without fear.
